How
do I register as a buyer on AsiatrademartB2B.COM?
-
In order to become a new member of AsiaTradeMart.com.COM,
click the Sign Up Now
icon on the top right corner of our home page to
access our registration form. Next, complete the
registration form. When you have finished, take
a minute to read the Terms of Use document. If you
agree with the Terms of Use, click the "I Accept"
button at the bottom of the Registration Form to
complete your registration.

Certain fields on the registration form are required
information. They are marked with a red
asterisk. Your information is very important to
us, so the system will check your input automatically.
If the system detects invalid or missing information,
it will return an error message. The invalid items
will be highlighted in red to help you spot what
needs to be corrected/added to your form.
Choosing
a Log-In ID and Password
- Your
Log-In ID and Password must be between 4 and 15
characters long. You may use letters (a-z),
numbers (0-9), a hyphen (-) or an
underscore (_), but your Log-In ID and Password
must not contain any spaces. The Log-In ID
and Password are not case sensitive.
Choosing
a Hint Question
- The
hint question/answer is required so that if you
forget your password, you can be provided with a
new one while still retaining your Log-In ID and
profile details.

Choose a hint question from our pull-down menu.
Next, fill in an answer. Your answer can be a maximum
of 15 characters long. If you forget your password
in the future, we will ask you for your hint question/answer.
If you respond correctly, we will send you a new
password via your registered email address. Please
make sure that the email addre

Having
trouble logging in?
If
you are already a member of AsiaTradeMart.com.COM,
and are having trouble logging in, perhaps you have
one of the following problems:
- You
may have typed your password and/or Log-In ID incorrectly.
Please check them both and try again.
- If
you have forgotten your password, please click the
"forgot your password?" link below the
Log-In box. We will ask you the hint question you
chose on the registration form. If you answer the
question correctly, our system will randomly generate
a new password for you. We suggest that you change
this password immediately once you receive it. (See
"Preferences" below for more details.)
- If
you have forgotten your password and also cannot
recall your answer to the hint question, our system
will create a new answer for you and send it to
your registered email address.
- If
you have forgotten your Log-In ID, please contact
us at service@asiatrademart.com.
- If
you have read the above information and are still
having difficulties logging in, please email us
at service@asiatrademart.com
with the exact nature of your problem so that we
can attempt to solve it as soon as possible.

What
is ePDA?
- ePDA
is our specially created electronic Personal Digital
Assistant system.
What
is the Search Function?
- Our
powerful search engine allows buyers to easily locate
information on all kinds of suppliers and their
products by entering either a product or company
name, or by selecting one of our practical product
categories.
Search Tips
- If
you already know the classification of the product
for which you are searching, simply select a category
from our main list. You will then be provided with
a more specific product subcategories list. Select
a subcategory, and a list of supplier company names
will appear. From there you can click on the company
names to view their individual web pages.
- There
are several advanced search instructions available
to you. They are the following:
-"AND"
operator
Example of search command entered: bicycle
frame
Using a space between two search words will
return items that contain both of the words,
such as bicycle and frame.
-"OR"
operator
Example of search command entered: bicycle,frame
Using a comma between two words (but no spaces)
will return items that contain either word,
such as bicycle or frame.
-"Exact"
operator
Example of search command entered: "bicycle
frame"
Using quotes around a set of words will return
items with the words in that exact sequence,
such as "bicycle frame", not "frame
bicycle".
What do Supplier Web Pages
display?
- A
supplier web page provides a profile of a company,
including contact details and background information.
A supplier page may also include an online product
catalogue with pictures of featured items. While
viewing a supplier web page, members of the site
can easily store contact information about a particular
company by clicking on the "Contact List"
icon at the top of the page.
How do I use the online
Product Catalogue?
- The
online product catalogue of a supplier web page
presents the features of individual products. It
also provides the following functions:
-You
can view a large image of
a specific product on a supplier web page simply
by clicking on it.
-To examine a product very closely, click the
Zoom icon at the bottom
right corner of the large product image to move
to the third viewing level.
-As a member of the site, you can use the Bookmark
function to store product information in
your personal Bookmark list for later reference.
-Members can conveniently make instant inquiries
to suppliers regarding specific products by clicking
on the "Inquiry" icon
at the top of a product image. The inquiry will
automatically include the product details.
What
is ePDA email?
- Each
member of AsiaTradeMart.com.COM receives a free web-based
email account. Your mail folders appear on the left
hand side of the page. Your lists of mail messages
appear in the top right frame of the page, and the
message contents appear in the lower right frame
of the page, according to which mail message you
have selected. You can use your email account to
effortlessly conduct inquiry communications with
trading partners.
What are the ePDA email
functions?
-
Compose Mail. To create
a new email message, click the Compose button.
- Create
Folders. Create new folders in which
to store and organize your messages by clicking
on the Create Folders button.
- Receive
Mail. Check for new messages by clicking
the Receive Mail button.
- Reply.
Reply to received messages by clicking the Reply
button.
- Forward
Mail. Forward messages to business associates
or friends by clicking the Forward button.
- Delete
Mail. Delete old messages by first selecting
the messages and then clicking the Delete Mail button.
What
is a Bookmark?
- The
Bookmark function assists you in creating a list
of your favorite products. Bookmarks help you to
effortlessly file away records of products of interest
for easy later reference, while you are browsing
company web pages.
How
do I use Bookmarks?
- After
performing a search for either a company or product(s)
in which you are interested, you will be presented
with a list of search results. By clicking on a
particular company name, you can view the company
contact details as well as several of their featured
products in their online product catalogue. When
you spot a product of interest in an online product
catalogue, simply click on the product picture to
select it. Next, click on the Bookmark icon at the
top of the page. The item will immediately be added
to your Bookmark list, along with a message to let
you know that your Bookmark was successful.
What details do Bookmarks
store?

Bookmarks store the following information:
-
Company Name
- Thumbnail sketch of product
- Product model number
- Brief description of product
What
are the Functions of Bookmarks?
-
Review a product. To
review a product in your Bookmark list, simply click
on the thumbnail sketch of the item. You will be
presented with a larger picture of the product.
To enlarge the image even further, click on the
Zoom icon at the bottom right corner of the product
image.
- Edit
Bookmarks. You can edit the arrangement
of your Bookmarks by clicking on the Edit Bookmarks
icon. For example, you can organize your Bookmarks
by creating, renaming or deleting folders. You can
also use this function to move Bookmarks from one
folder to another.
- Delete.
To delete a product Bookmark(s) from your list,
mark each item you wish to delete by clicking on
its corresponding selection box in the Delete Items
column. Next, select the Delete Items button at
the top of the column to remove the Bookmark(s).
What
is the Contact List?
- The
Contact List is your personalized online database
with which you can record important information
on trading partners and business connections.
How
do I use the Contact List?
- After
performing a search for either a company or product(s)
in which you are interested, you will be presented
with a list of search results. By clicking on a
particular company name, it will bring up the web
page of that supplier/company. You can add these
company contact details conveniently and easily
to your personal contact list by clicking the Contact
List icon at the top of the page.
What
details does the Contact List store?
-
Company details stored in the Contact List are the
following:
-Company
Name
-Email Address
-Telephone Number
What
are the Functions of the Contact List?
- Company
Home Page. You can use your personal
Contact List to access company home pages quickly
by clicking on the company name.
- Email.
To send an email message to a company in your Contact
List, simply click on the email address.
- Download.
By clicking the green arrow icon next to a company
name in your Contact List, the Download function
allows you to save that company's information in
a vCard format to a local disk. From there it can
easily be transferred to certain PDA machines such
as the Palm Pilot.
- Delete.
The Delete function allows you to remove a company
name from your contact list by simply clicking on
the trash can icon next to the company's name.
- Edit.
Edit your Contact List by clicking on the Edit Contact
List icon. For example, you can organize your Contact
List by creating, renaming or deleting folders.
You can also use this function to move company contact
information from one folder to another.
What
are Preferences?
- The
Preferences function in the ePDA system allows members
to change their personal profiles. You can change/update
the following information in Preferences:
-Your
password. (Please note that your
Log-In ID is permanent and cannot be changed
once you have registered.)
-Your contact details,
such as telephone number, address, etc.
-Buyer Privacy.
If you do not want your contact information
shared with suppliers, please change your settings
here.
